Praying for
For decades military families stationed at Fort Sam called St. Paul’s their parish home. Through this long association St. Paul’s parish community understands the difficulties that military families live with while family members serve at home or deployed in the service of our country. Led by former U.S. Army Chaplain The Rev. Dr. Karen Brandon, is committed to continuing that close connection. Military Matters meet every 1st Wednesday of the month at 1:00 pm in the Parish Library.
Welcoming
St. Paul’s Our Lord’s Table food distribution program, operating in partnership with the San Antonio Food Bank, provides food for our neighbors in need. Volunteers from both the parish and the neighborhood gather twice a month at the church to distribute groceries to over one hundred families.
Nourishing all who search for God
Worship and music and service at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church are central to the Eucharistic life of St. Paul’s, acting as an outward expression of God’s love and grace. We celebrate and honor the sacraments, using traditional rites and music of the church as expressed in The Book of Common Prayer and the 1982 Hymnal. At St. Paul’s we are members of the great tradition of Christ’s One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, in all places and in all times.
To promote Wholeness and Growth
From its very humble beginnings, St. Paul’s remains true to its original mission: The mission of St. Paul’s Episcopal Montessori School is to educate a diverse community of children, nurturing mind, body, and spirit through a Montessori education in the Episcopal tradition.

Collect, all saints’ day
Almighty God, you have knit together your elect in one communion and fellowship in the mystical body of your Son Christ our Lord: Give us grace so to follow your blessed saints in all virtuous and godly living, that we may come to those ineffable joys that you have prepared for those who truly love you; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who with you and the Holy Spirit lives and reigns, one God, in glory everlasting. Amen.
