Immigration Ministry Update (and postcards!)

October 26th after the 10:30 AM Mass

Flor Saldivar, diocesan leader, will update us on the needs of Immigration Ministry in West Texas.

Over the next few weeks, we invite folks to write postcards to the sheriff to make your prayers and perspectives heard on SB8. We'll have a postcard station in the parish hall to help!

Baptism & Confirmation

Sunday, November 2nd & Sunday, November 9th

We have opportunities for baptism on All Saints' Sunday (November 2nd), and for confirmation at the Bishop's Visit (November 9th). We'll have a "Confirmation Bootcamp" class on October 26th. If you're interested in these sacraments of belonging, please contact Fr. Brian for more details!

All Souls’ Ofrenda

Sunday, November 2nd

As part of our Hallowtide Celebration, we'll create an ofrenda (an altar of remembrance) altar at the back of the church to display images of those we love but see no longer. We invite you to bring photographs of your dearly departed to the church this month (you can leave them in the church office). Contact Chris Olson (chriscarolo@aol.com) if you have any questions.

Our Lord’s Table Food Pantry Updates

Our regular distribution continues on the first and third Saturday (October 4th and October 18th) — join the volunteers at 8:45am at the warehouse at the back of the parking lot. Distribution is wrapped up by 9:30am.

We also have an exciting new addition to this ministry: a 24/7 food pantry box at the entrance to the parking lot on Grayson Street!

We're grateful to our friends at Community First Health Plans for making this possible. This new box will provide relief to folks in our community experiencing food insecurity at any time.

But we need your help! It's our community's responsibility to keep the pantry regularly stocked with items. You can find a list of nonperishable donation items by clicking here. Please think about adding a few items to your weekly grocery list, and bringing them by the church when you come for worship or other meetings to add to the box. As we grow into this new ministry, we'll continue to share how you can participate in feeding our community.
