If you administer the chalice at Holy Eucharist, deliver communion to people at home, read the lesson at Holy Eucharist, or lead morning or evening prayer here at St. Paul’s your ministry license has expired. Shortly renewal classes will be scheduled. If you are interested in continuing to serve, or to start serving as a LEM, LEV, Lector or Worship leader contact Fr. Lay Ministry License:
The canons of The Episcopal Church and the Episcopal Diocese of West Texas require that confirmed communicants in good standing who administer the chalice at Celebration of the Holy Eucharist (a Lay Eucharistic minister), or reads the lessons during at the Celebration of the Holy Eucharist (a Lector)or who delivers communion to people who cannot get to church (a Lay Eucharistic Visitor), or lead one of the prayer book offices like Morning and Evening Prayer must (a Worshiper Leader) have their license renewed every three years.
Attention Lay Ministers: Please return all Communion travel kits to the Sacristy as soon as convenient.
